She shared the information along with her followers on social media TODAY (3/15), writing, “Since I used to be 19 years previous, SONY has been my residence in NASHVILLE. During the last 20 years collectively we’ve launched albums that allowed me to share my story with the world, and we’ve reached heights I’d by no means even dreamed had been attainable. I’m so grateful for our time collectively and all the things they made attainable for me, but I wouldn’t be true to myself if I wasn’t continually on the lookout for the following problem and a brand new solution to stretch my creativity. With that in thoughts, I’ve determined to say goodbye to my SONY household. I can’t wait to see what the following journey holds.”
The publish was accompanied by a collage of covers for 9 albums she recorded for SONY. Sources advised BILLBOARD that LAMBERT’s publish took SONY executives off guard.
