Drummer Carmine Appice recently said in an interview that Mick Mars wasn’t getting together with the opposite members of Mötley Crüe towards the top of his touring profession. Appice spoke at size about Mars not being completely happy that his last tour with the band was “pre-recorded and that every little thing was on tape,” that Mars felt flying all over the place was an enormous waste of cash, and that Mars had his personal tour bus.
Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx caught wind of the feedback and is none too proud of Appice. In a tweet, Sixx stated “Love how folks discuss FOR us with out speaking TO us. This is the reason the media has misplaced credibility. Clearly by printing BS they earn money off of promoting and we’re not into that clickbait sport.
