The thirteenth annual T3R TEXAS REGIONAL RADIO MUSIC AWARDS had been held on MONDAY (3/27) at TEXAS LIVE! in ARLINGTON. Awards had been handed out to artists and radio broadcasters from across the nation, and ZZ TOP’s BILLY GIBBONS was honored with the Dwelling Legend Award. He was readily available to simply accept that trophy, in addition to a key to the town of ARLINGTON.
AARON WATSON was named Entertainer of the Yr, and WADE BOWEN was the evening’s massive winner, taking dwelling trophies for Male Vocalist, Single and Music of the Yr, the latter two for “Every little thing Has Your Reminiscence.” ARIEL HUTCHINS received for each Feminine Vocalist and Video of the Yr (“Caught”). WILLIAM CLARK GREEN received Album of the Yr for “Baker Lodge.” Different artist winners included FLATLAND CAVALRY (Group/Band of the Yr), JORDAN RAINER (New Feminine), MATT CASTILLO (New Male) and LOVE & CHAOS (New Duo).
