Footage has surfaced of Nickelback stopping their August 3 present in Missouri, MO after vocalist Chad Kroeger struggled to sing. Kroeger addressed the group, saying he’d been battling some type of sickness, and advised that they perhaps cease the present so followers’ cash would not be wasted. Which is a cool transfer, truthfully.
“I can not do that,” stated Kroeger to the group, as transcribed by Blabbermouth. “I can’t sit right here with a fucking completely destroyed throat and attempt to make it by means of this present and fake like there’s nothing fucking improper and take your fucking cash, ‘trigger that’s improper. I am having a tough time hittin’ fuckin’ notes. The physician simply jabbed me within the hip with some prednisone, and all of us crossed our fingers backstage hoping this was gonna work.
“However I can’t, in good conscience, get up right here and sing these fuckin’ songs and have my voice crack and all the things sound like shit. It is driving me fucking nuts. So, I am going to inform you what. I may give it my finest. I may preserve simply making an attempt and we may simply pull the fuck round if you wish to.”
