Asinhell is the brand new band that includes guitarist Michael Poulsen (Volbeat) alongside singer Marc Grewe (ex-Morgoth, Insidious Illness) and drummer Toft Hansen (Raunchy). Asinhell will launch their debut album Impii Hora on September 29, and you may take a look at the d-beat leaning new single “Desert Of Doom” under.
“‘Desert of Doom’ was impressed by Bolt Thrower, Death, Entombed, and Motörhead. Bang your head ’til it does not bang no extra!,” mentioned Poulsen of the only.
On the album itself, Poulsen provided: “The album was impressed by late ’80s and early ’90s old style loss of life steel, and considered one of our brightest factors of inspiration was the mighty Demise, fronted by the legendary Chuck Schuldiner. There’s quite a lot of Death in there. Schuldiner is considered one of my favourite loss of life steel vocalists, the opposite being our vocalist Marc [Grewe]. So to me, this music is the mixture of two of my favorites. ‘Let the steel circulate,’ as Chuck would have mentioned!”
