AC/DC performed their first present since 2016 on the Energy Journey competition in Indio, CA on October 7. The present was AC/DC‘s first with dwell drummer Matt Haug rather than Phil Rudd, in addition to their first with Brian Johnson again on vocals and bassist Cliff Williams un-retired from the band. So a fairly large deal. The set ran as follows:
- “If You Need Blood (You’ve got Received It)”
- “Again In Black”
- “Demon Hearth” (Dwell Debut)
- “Shot Down In Flames”
- “Thunderstruck”
- “Have A Drink On Me”
- “Hells Bells”
- “Shot In The Darkish” (Dwell Debut)
- “Stiff Higher Lip” (First Time Since 2003)
- “Soiled Deeds Executed Grime Low cost”
- “Shoot To Thrill”
- “Sin Metropolis”
- “Givin The Canine A Bone”
- “Rock ‘N’ Roll Prepare”
- “You Shook Me All Evening Lengthy”
- “Canine Eat Canine” (first efficiency with Brian Johnson since 2009)
- “Excessive Voltage”
- “Hell Ain’t A Unhealthy Place To Be”
- “Riff Raff” (first efficiency with Brian Johnson since 1996)
- “Freeway To Hell”
- “Entire Lotta Rosie”
- “Let There Be Rock”
No phrase on if Rudd is completely out of the band, as he did rejoin AC/DC in 2020 for his or her newest file Energy Up. Rudd was initially let go from AC/DC in 2015 when he was discovered responsible of threatening to kill somebody and drug possession. Rudd was sentenced to eight months of home arrest by a New Zealand courtroom, and was changed by former AC/DC drummer Chris Slade.
Williams‘ story is way much less dramatic. Dude retired from the street in 2016 after AC/DC‘s tour wrapped up, rejoined the band in 2020 for the recording and promotion of Energy Up, and is now un-retiring from dwell reveals. Easy as that.
Brian Johnson fronted AC/DC between 1980 and 2016, at which level Johnson retired resulting from listening to loss points. AC/DC was fronted by Axl Rose for the rest of their tour, and rumors started circulating that the band was engaged on new materials with the Guns N’ Roses frontman. AC/DC in the end launched Energy Up in 2020 with Johnson as soon as once more on vocals, however clearly did not tour because of the pandemic.
