Therion – Debut New Observe & Music Video
To advertise their upcoming studio album launch Leviathan III, due out December 15 by way of Napalm Information, Swedish symphonic steel power Therion premiere the second advance single, “Ruler Of Tamag”.
Christofer Johnsson on “Ruler Of Tamag”: “The tune was written by me and Thomas Vikström and it has numerous Center Japanese influences within the music. Lyrically it offers with the ruler of the Underworld within the Turkic mythology referred to as Erlik. Elements of the tune is in Turkish language. I collaborated with Soner Canözer from the now defunct Turkish symphonic steel band Almôra for the interpretation/rewriting of the Turkish elements of the lyrics. The video is a lyric video and it was achieved by Carlos Toro from Abysmo Movies that did our video clips the previous 13 years.
