Asphalt – the duo that includes drummer and vocalist M.S.W. (Hell, MSW, ex-Mizmor [live]) and vocalist and guitarist T.A.S. – has quietly been releasing a few of the heaviest music of 2023. Asphalt has launched three EPs between June and now, all of which has been absoluely devastating. The fantastic thing about what Asphalt does is that it is basically grinding doom riffs at a lot shorter a size, and with grimy-as-hell manufacturing in addition.
