Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose has been sued for sexual assault by ex-Penthouse mannequin Sheila Kennedy over an incident that occurred in 1989. The lawsuit was filed in the present day, November 22 within the New York Supreme Courtroom, and obtained by Rolling Stone.
In response to the lawsuit, Kennedy claims that Rose violently sexually assaulted in a New York lodge room. Kennedy met Rose at a nightclub with a good friend, and ultimately went again to Rose‘s lodge room alongside one other mannequin and future MTV host Riki Rachtman.
Kennedy then claims that Rose supplied his friends with medication and alcohol, and ultimately “pushed Kennedy in opposition to the wall and kissed her” when she exited the lavatory. “Kennedy discovered Rose engaging and didn’t thoughts this encounter. She was open to sleeping with him if issues progressed,” reads a portion of the swimsuit.
Later that evening, the swimsuit alleges that Rose started having intercourse with the opposite mannequin. Kennedy stated she was unconformable with the scenario, including that “Rose was aggressive in a manner that appeared painful for the mannequin” and that Rose “was encouraging group intercourse.” At this level, Kennedy and Rachtman left the room.
Upon leaving, Kennedy stated she heard glass shattering. “She additionally heard Rose screaming on the mannequin, allegedly saying, ‘You’re a fucking whore. Get the fuck out of right here.'” Rose then stormed down the hallway to Rachtman‘s room and, seeing Kennedy, pushed her down. “Whereas Kennedy was on the bottom, Rose grabbed her by the hair and dragged her throughout the suite again to his bed room,” the swimsuit stated, including that Rose then threw her onto his mattress and tied her fingers behind her again with a pair of pantyhose.
“Kennedy lay there on the mattress along with her fingers tied behind her again, bleeding, weak, and alone with Rose whereas he was in a sexual, risky rage,” the swimsuit continued, including that Rose carried out undesirable anal intercourse on Kennedy. “Kennedy had simply witnessed Rose violently have intercourse with one other lady. He dragged Kennedy to his bed room like a caveman and acted with uncontrolled fury. Rose had bodily stopped her from leaving. Kennedy was trapped.”
“He handled her like property used solely for his sexual pleasure. He didn’t use a condom. Kennedy didn’t consent and felt overpowered. She felt she had no escape or exit and was compelled to acquiesce. She believed Rose would bodily assault her, or worse, if she stated no or tried to push him away. She understood that the most secure factor to do was to lie in mattress and look forward to Rose to complete assaulting her.”
Kennedy is suing Rose for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional misery, and gender-motivated violence. Rose has not but responded to the lawsuit.
