The one comes alongside a music video by David Brodsky from My Good Eye: Music Visuals and the announcement of Deicide‘s new album Banished By Sin due out April 26, which you can pre-order here.

“I have been sitting in a darkish nook for a number of years now,” mentioned Deicide frontman Glen Benton. “A couple of issues have come into my life which have shaken and altered me. I obtained impressed penning this new file—it was like flipping a swap. I not have the aggravation of different peoples’ hangups interfering with what I’ve and wish to do. I ended chasing all people else’s happiness a very long time in the past. The man who began this shit is again! And it is good to be again!”

He continued: “Musically, we’re again to the Nineteen Nineties model. There’s fashionable stuff in there, too. It is Deicide the way in which it was meant to be. My hooky songs are there, Steve’s prog-styled songs are there, and we obtained Kevin‘s theme-styled songs. Having Taylor within the band has impacted Deicide enormously. He is a unbelievable songwriter and participant. He can do something.

“The 4 of us contributed three songs every. I am again with the excessive screaming and layering. I am simply completely going off on this one. I have been informed it is one in all my finest vocal performances. I am like Rumpelstiltskin—right here to spin your hay into gold. All people’s going to be pleasantly shocked.”

Deicide is at the moment Benton, guitarists Taylor Nordberg and Kevin Quirion, and drummer Steve Asheim. Banished By Sin was engineered by Jeramie Kling and Nordberg, and options mixing and mastering of Josh Wilbur.
