Vola has introduced their new studio album, Good friend of a Phantom, slated for launch on November 1st by means of Mascot Information.
The album opens with “Cannibal,” that includes vocals by Anders Fridén of In Flames. This observe units the tone for an album journey that strikes from the hypnotically ethereal “We Will Not Disband” to “Hole Child.” Bassist Nicolai Mogensen describes his inventive course of for “Hole Child”: “I wished to mix the essence of Metallica‘s ‘Enter Sandman’ with the low tuning and polyrhythms of Meshuggah.
