Chelsea Wolfe‘s newest album, She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She, is getting a contemporary new look with the upcoming remix EP titled Undone.
Set for launch on August 30 by Loma Vista, this EP will function reimagined tracks by notable artists equivalent to Justin Okay Broadrick of Godflesh, Full Of Hell, and Boy Harsher, amongst others. One of many standout remixes comes from Crosses, the challenge led by Deftones vocalist and guitarist Chino Moreno and Shaun Lopez of Far.
“We have identified Chelsea since we each lived in Sacramento,” stated Crosses. “After we had been approached to do that remix, it appeared like an ideal time to collaborate. We really feel like our sounds work very nicely collectively,” stated the duo, reflecting on their involvement.
Wolfe herself expressed her pleasure concerning the challenge, stating, “She Reaches Out… felt like the proper document to have official remixes for because it’s themed so closely with transformation. I referred to as in some artists I actually respect to develop upon the sonic universe we created with Dave Sitek and it has been such a deal with and delight to listen to every tune come again remodeled!”
