Solar Do not Shine – the band that includes Type O Negative guitarist Kenny Hickey and drummer Johnny Kelly alongside present Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein and ex-Crowbar bassist Todd Unusual that was known as Eye Am – is now streaming their new single “The Promise Tune”.
“This one was an actual instance of taking pictures from the hip. I had the fundamental framework for the music having no actual thought the way it was going to come back out,” stated Hickey. “Then Kirk laid his tracks and turned the bridge into a completely completely different animal, intensifying every little thing, and laid down a stellar guitar lead that deepened the whole monitor.”
