Drummer and keyboardist Tommy Viator has died. Viator drummed on Disincarnate‘s 1993 sole album Desires Of The Carrion Sort (headed up by former Obituary, Death, and Testament guitarist James Murphy), and performed keyboards on Acid Tub’s 1996 file Paegan Terrorism Ways.
Information of Viator‘s demise comes from a publish by Murphy. We want Viator‘s family and friends all the perfect at the moment.
“RIP Disincarnate drummer Tommy Viator, pictured right here to the far left in 1993,” wrote Murphy. “I do not know what occurred, I simply know that he’s gone.
“Tommy was a key component to the band’s sound, with a drumming fashion all his personal… he helped make the Desires of the Carrion Sort album heavy as hell with out a single blast beat, no less than not as that method is thought as we speak. He was sporting my leather-based on this pic, I do not actually keep in mind why.
“We simply spoke again at the start of April, and he appeared to be in good spirits and having some constructive musical actions and plans with musicians native to him close to his house in Louisiana. I am glad we had that dialog, and I am very glad that I let him know that I appreciated him on the finish of it. I’d’ve mentioned a lot extra if I had identified, however we by no means know.”
