The Word Alive and guitarist Zack Hansen have break up over accusations of home abuse.
It began on Might 30 when Hansen merely acknowledged he was stepping away from the band to deal with some private points. On the time, Hansen wrote: “As of as we speak — with respect to my household, mates and followers I might be stepping away from The Word Alive to deal with some private points and to take the time essential to deal with myself. I do know in the long term that is what’s finest for me and TWA. I ask on your endurance, understanding and privateness at the moment. Thanks for all the help.”
Footage then surfaced of the alleged home abuse by Hansen on Twitter, although that video has since been restricted to who can see it. The Word Alive addressed the scenario on Might 31, saying they’d truly fired Hansen over the scenario – not that he had chosen to step away.
“To The Word Alive household: As quickly as we had been made conscious of the scenario directed in the direction of our guitarist, Zack, we instantly requested him to step away from the band. We don’t condone any home abuse in any respect.”
As of now, The Word Alive continues to be slated to open for Asking Alexandria this September.
