Noah Scurry — a highschool basketball star in Pennsylvania — tragically died this week after he was shot simply steps from his residence.
The Philadelphia Police Division stated the deadly taking pictures occurred at round 7:15 AM on Tuesday … revealing Scurry was on his strategy to Samuel Fels Excessive Faculty when he was gunned down.
He was simply 17 years previous.
A motive for the taking pictures is just not but recognized … authorities say an investigation into the incident is beneath method.
“No arrests have been made,” the PPD stated, “and no weapon was recovered.”
Scurry was a senior at Samuel Fels H.S. … and a captain on the boys’ basketball crew. In accordance with his cousin, Breanna McGlynn, he was being recruited by faculties.
The Panthers video games for this week have been canceled within the wake of his dying.

SFHS principal Melissa Rasper stated in a press release Tuesday that Scurry was greater than only a gifted basketball participant … he not too long ago achieved the very best SAT scores on the faculty.
“Our deepest condolences and ideas exit to the household and buddies of this pupil,” she stated.
A GoFundMe has been set as much as help Scurry’s household with funeral bills.
