In an SEC submitting on THURSDAY (4/20), SBS disclosed that it has inked a deal to purchase KROI for $7.5 million. The deal has not but landed within the FCC database as of early FRIDAY morning. KROI was one among two spinoffs — the opposite being Basic Nation KTHT (COUNTRY LEGENDS 97.1)/CLEVELAND, TX-HOUSTON — for which RADIO ONE filed to ship to SUGARLAND STATION TRUST, LLC, a divestiture belief with SCOTT KNOBLAUCH as trustee, on the market to adjust to possession caps after buying KTHT and three different stations from COX MEDIA GROUP for $27.5 million.
