The ’90s Nation vocal group RICOCHET has signed with ENCORE MUSIC GROUP and can launch the band’s first album in over a decade. RICOCHET THEN & NOW … THE HITS & MORE (distributed by SMITH MUSIC GROUP) is slated for launch on AUGUST 18th, and can mark the thirtieth anniversary of the band’s formation in 1993.
With varied tracks produced by ROBERT WRIGHT, JUSTIN SPEARS, PAT McMAKIN, and ERIC SILVER, the 16-track venture displays RICOCHET’s previous success with new renditions of their traditional hits, and introduces eight new songs.
Present band members are founding lead vocalist HEATH WRIGHT (the group’s solely unique member), together with CHRIS HEMPFLING (vocals, drums), RICK TOOPS (vocals, keys), BRUCE BENNETT (vocals, bass), and LARRY HIGHT (vocals, rhythm/lead guitar, metal, dobro, and saxophone).
WRIGHT mentioned, “That is an thrilling time for RICOCHET. The ’90s period of Nation music is hotter than ever, and persons are capable of finding our music faster than ever, so to launch our hits and new music for the primary time in over 20 years is thrilling. RICOCHET had three Prime 10 hits on COLUMBIA within the mid-’90s, together with the #1, “Daddy’s Cash.”
