One 12 months after their highly-influential Tomb Of The Mutilated file in 1992, Cannibal Corpse dropped their Hammer Smashed Face EP. The EP predictably featured the title monitor alongside “Shredded People” from Eaten Again To Life, “Meat Hook Sodomy” from Butchered At Delivery, after which covers of “The Exorcist” by Possessed and “Zero The Hero” by Black Sabbath.
“The Exorcist” cowl was by no means carried out dwell, although “Zero The Hero” did make it to the stage a number of occasions in 1993 (and as soon as in 1994).
