Martyr – the band that includes frontman Daniel Mongrain (Voivod, ex-Cryptopsy, ex-Gorguts). guitarist Martin Carbonneau (ex-Crucifixion), bassist François Mongrain (Apocalyptic Concern, ex-Ex Deo), and drummer Patrice Hamelin (Gorguts) – performed their first present since 2011 at Trois-Rivières Metalfest 2023 on November 10. The present featured Martyr taking part in a handful of fan favorites alongside the whole lot of their 2000 report Warp Zone.

Martyr has been on hiatus since 2012 attributable to disagreements between its members. Although it is value noting that the band’s total pre-hiatus lineup is at the moment in Martyr as soon as once more.
