In a current interview with Full Metal Jackie’s weekend radio present, drummer Away spoke in regards to the album’s inception and the way by means of the years they wrote a couple of horrific future for humanity and the destruction of the planet, which has been slowly turning into our actuality. It’s fairly fucking loopy if you come to consider it.
“I feel that since we have been attempting to speak in regards to the destruction of this planet in a sci-fi idea, what I got here to appreciate when the album was put collectively was that sci-fi has caught up with us in a far more quickly than I anticipated really.” Away provided.
“These topics have been we’re speaking about – how AI managed high-tech weaponry and all that – we’re coping with it proper now.” He continued “I spotted that among the lyrics have been form of recurring nightmares. At one level, we have been speaking about Chernobyl, after which years later, we’re speaking about Fukushima or we have been speaking in regards to the ozone layer after which it is world warming, and so forth and so forth.”
“We have at all times been attempting to warn folks about what we thought could be catastrophic sooner or later and so now with this album, I understand that we live it proper now.”
