In celebration of THE JUDDS’ fortieth anniversary, a brand new compilation album, “A Tribute to THE JUDDS,” that includes a few of Nation music’s largest stars, will likely be launched OCTOBER 27th on BMG. The reimagined variations of the JUDDS songs, apart from one, have been all produced by the mom/daughter duo’s authentic producer, BRENT MAHER.
Lending their voices to the challenge are WYNONNA JUDD, ASHLEY McBRYDE, BLAKE SHELTON, CARL PERKINS, CARLY PEARCE, CODY JOHNSON, DOLLY PARTON, ELLA LANGLEY, GABBY BARRETT, GWEN STEFANI, JAMEY JOHNSON, JELLY ROLL, JENNIFER NETTLES, Okay. MICHELLE, LAINEY WILSON, LEANN RIMES, MEGAN MORONEY, MOLLY TUTTLE, O.N.E. THE DUO, RAUL MALO, REBA McENTIRE, ROB ICKES, SHELLY FAIRCHILD, SONYA ISAACS, THE FISK JUBILEE SINGERS, TREY HENSLEY, TRISHA YEARWOOD, WENDY MOTEN, and the trio BARNETT, LYNNE and WEST, made up of MANDY BARNETT, SHELBY LYNNE and EMILY WEST.
The album marks 40 years for the reason that now COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAMERS have been signed to RCA NASHVILLE by JOE GALANTE. Each GALANTE and his longtime A&R govt, RENEE BELL, function govt producers on the challenge.
The one tune on the set not produced by MAHER. “Cry Myself To Sleep,” was produced by WYNONNA’s husband and drummer, CACTUS MOSER. That monitor is a duet between WYNONNA and YEARWOOD.
WYNONNA mentioned, “To have all of those artists, most of that are my buddies, come collectively and lend their voices and artistry to reimagine these songs is so particular. These songs are so timeless, and I’m so excited for them to stay on for generations to come back.”
“A Tribute To THE JUDDS” will even be partnering with the NATIONAL ALLIANCE OF MENTAL ILLNESS (NAMI), in honor of NAOMI JUDD, who died by suicide final 12 months after a protracted battle with despair. For extra data on NAMI, please go to here.
